The Palaces Casino Review
It seems that The Palaces Casino needs serious restoration. And cleaning. And, probably, ghostbusters - ghosts like living in semi-abandoned palaces. This casino has problems almost with everything! Their website is pretty weird (in all senses), and it doesn’t function properly. Besides, there is no 24/7 support, and getting a withdrawal may take you up to 1 month! The selection of games is not that bad. They offer titles from NetEnt and IGT, and there are around 300 games in total (or maybe fewer, we will explain you the details later). The slots welcome promotion is also nice - it offers up to £250 on your first three deposits plus some spins, while the wagering requirements are only 35 times the bonus value. Really, the bonus is literally the only thing they did right, and it partially redeems the casino in our eyes. Just a little bit.
- License from the UK;
- 6 languages;
- Live games;
- Nice wagering requirement - 35xB.
- Withdrawals may take up to 30 days;
- No 24/7 support;
- The website is kinda inconvenient.
The Palaces Casino is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. The starting page of the website looks pretty standard, but if you go deeper, you’ll find out that the designers definitely wanted to make your eyes bleed. Virtually all the texts have a black background and white font, so reading the entire Terms and Conditions section can easily make you cry. Besides, creating an account there is not an easy challenge. Even if your country is on the list (that list which you see when trying to register), this doesn’t mean you’re allowed to play The Palaces Casino. In the end, when you will fill all the fields, you may see a message saying something like “Thanks for your interest, but your country is restricted”. It looks like this casino is only for the chosen ones! Well, at least there are 6 languages you can choose from.
Customer Service: If you need help, you can contact the agents via live chat, phone or email. But it seems that the support doesn’t work 24/7 - we tried to use the chat, but there was no one online there, and the website didn’t clarify the situation about the agents’ working schedule. There is also FAQ, but it’s not very extensive. And, again, reading FAQ may hurt your eyes.
“Your withdrawals may take up to 30 days!”
Banking: Payments section of the website sucks. It has a drop-down menu with the countries - you choose your location and see what banking methods are available to you. It is supposed to be convenient, but this menu has no sense, because regardless of your choice, the list of options doesn’t change. Anyway, you can use Skrill, Visa, iDeal and few other methods. Not really impressive, but here is something much worse - withdrawing your money may take up to 30 days! The website says it can take so much time only in exceptional circumstances, but still… 30 day to receive your winnings! Are they serious? We tried to find out more details about the maximum withdrawal amounts, but the support agents were offline. Again.
Software and Game Variety
The section with games looks pretty weird. If you check only previews of the games, you will see that the selection is very limited. But if you check the list with titles (only titles, without pictures!), you will find out out that there are somewhere around 300 games. Besides, some games are in the wrong places - for instance, you can find Roulette among video slots. Anyway, The Palaces Casino cooperates with NetEnt and IGT, and here are some of the games you can play there:
- Slots: Butterfly Staxx, Da Vinci Diamonds, Arabian Nights;
- Table games: Blackjack, Roulette, Punto Banco;
- Video poker: Joker Wild, Jacks or Better, All American;
- Instant win games: Lil’ Lady Bingo, Wheel of Fortune, Ghostbusters Spectral Search.
There is also a Bingo subsection in case you are interested in this kind of games.
Mobile and Live Gaming
You can play The Palaces Casino on your iOS or Android gadget, but, obviously, the selection of games will be more limited.
Surprisingly, the casino offers several live games. You can try only Roulette or Blackjack, but this is still better than no live games at all.
Bonuses and Promotions
The Palaces Casino offers two welcome promotions. Here is the first package:
- The first deposit - a 100% bonus up to £100 plus 50 free spins;
- The second deposit - a 100% bonus up to £100;
- The third deposit - a 100% bonus up to £50.
The wagering requirements are okay - 35 times the bonus amount. Winnings from the spins must be wagered in the same way. This package can be used ONLY for playing slots.
“The casino offers several welcome promotions”.
And here is the second promotion:
- You make your first deposit and get a 100% bonus up to £100. This bonus can be used only for playing Bingo, and its wagering requirement is 2 times the bonus amount;
- Apart from the first deposit bonus, you also receive £150. You won’t get the whole amount of this bonus at once - it will be divided into 30 little bonuses, and you will receive one of them (£5) every day until you get the whole sum. But don’t think you get these bonuses for free! To get your next £5, you will have to wager £10 in cash or winnings.
