Reef Club Casino Review
Reef Club Casino is bearable. Just take a deep breath before you open it and bear with it for some time. It won’t look any better as you do so, but the true beauty lies within, blah blah and all that vanilla crap. The games won’t disappoint you (most of them anyway), and the banking options are great. You will even find famous providers such as NetEnt and Microgaming. Just beware that now there is no welcome bonus at all. Also, they will forward the UK citizens to another casino. What the hell? They have a UK license, but the British will be redirected anyway.
- Good licenses (UK) and safety certificates (eCOGRA);
- 15 years of operation;
- Surprisingly good mobile website;
- Excellent live games.
- Old and outdated desktop website;
- Underwhelming slots collection;
- No welcome bonus;
- No live chat.
Reef Club Casino is operated by Cassava Enterprises - a subsidiary of the colossal 888 Holdings. Being a close relative to such a big brand, it should be not bad at the very least, right? Right?
The casino is not bad per se; it just looks old, ugly, and outdated.
The website is stuck in the past, the casino lobby (what you won’t have access to until you register an account) was apparently designed for 800x600 screen resolutions only. UK citizens, by the way, can’t access the casino at all.
The legal and security stuff is stellar though. Licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar, approved by eCOGRA safe and fair seal, with various encryption and firewall technologies to protect your data, external and internal audit tests - it’s as safe as it can get.
Banking: Everything seems to be taken care of - they have payment methods like credit cards, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, Webmoney, and Wire Transfer, all available for both deposits and withdrawals, except the last one. You should be patient, as you will get you withdrawal in five days at best. It seems like someone is sending it over the post from down the Reef.
Customer Support: Your options are limited to email and phone. The live chat seems to be hidden in the game lobby, but, shit, it’s still not working. We’d point out that this is unacceptable for a modern casino, but then we remembered that it’s an 888 Group casino we’re talking about. Typical for them to drop the ball in player support. And yeah, still unacceptable.
Software and Game Variety
Besides the fact that the lobby looks ugly, the games themselves are pretty good. The casino has all the exclusive homemade 888 games, plus those from WMS, NetEnt, Microgaming, Barcrest and several more.
That being said, the variety is not huge - there are currently about 170 slots in the library. The “New” section is particularly spectacular. Steam Tower? Dazzle Me? Weren’t those released like two years ago? Blood Suckers? It’s already a classic! Oh, it’s the touch version. Alright then. Other than that they also have:
- Slots: Starburst, Irish Riches, Cleopatra;
- Progressive Jackpots: The Big Lebowski (the Dude!), Irish Riches, Treasure Fair;
- Table and Card Games: Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Video Poker, Casino Hold’em;
- Other: Keno, Bingo.
If you tolerate the dated website and lobby, this place might be good for ya.
Mobile and Live Games
We were surprised to discover that Reef Club Casino works perfectly well on mobile devices. Better than on desktop, really. It’s like seeing your grandpa go skateboarding or something.
The live games section is where Reef Club shines, thanks to the 888 platform. You can play virtually anything there is to play live: roulette (in several languages), blackjack, casino hold’em, baccarat, Texas hold’em, three card Poker and Caribbean stud.
Bonuses and Promotions
Reef Club Casino doesn’t have any welcome bonus for now. “What the hell?” you may ask. We have the same question.
The only thing they can offer is the Comp Points that you earn simply by playing games and convert back into cash, and VIP program with some extra bonuses like faster cashouts and tailored promos.
