Playbet Casino Review
We didn’t expect a lot from a casino with such a boring name, but, to be honest, this website has surprised us (unfortunately, in a bad sense). So, PlayBet Casino offers almost 500 games from Microgaming and Portomaso Gaming, which is not bad. Besides, there are no maximum withdrawal limits! However, the customer support, interface, mobile version, and especially bonuses and promotions leave much to be desired. Maybe even too much.
- License from Malta;
- 2 languages;
- No maximum withdrawal limits;
- Live chat.
- No welcome bonus;
- No 24/7 support;
- A fee on net winnings;
- Problems with the mobile version.
PlayBet Casino was opened in 2013. It is registered in Malta and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority.
At first glance, the Casino’s website is not so fascinating. The design is quite simple and performed in blue colors. All casino games are divided into 3 sections: Red, Blue and Live Casino. The casino’s interface is easy-to-navigate, and is available in two languages - Greek and English.
Customer Support: If you need help, feel free to use live chat, phone or email. There is also a rather short FAQ. We tried the chat, and got help, although, we had to be patient. Besides, keep in mind that the support agents don’t work round the clock - you can catch them from 08:00 to 23:59 on working days, and from 13:00 to 21:00 on weekends.
Banking: The selection of banking options is not bad - it includes Visa, Skrill, bank transfer, Neteller, and few other methods. PlayBet Casino processes most of the withdrawal requests within 24-48 hours. Besides, there is no maximum withdrawal limit.
Software and Game Variety
The website of PlayBet Casino offers two similar, but not identical casinos to choose from – Red Casino (featuring games from Microgaming) and Blue Casino (featuring games from Portomaso Gaming). Each of them has a separate library of games. Notice that the list of games at Red Casino is more diverse than at Blue Casino. In total, there are almost 500 titles.
Here are some games offered in Red Casino:
- Slots: Sugar Parade, Jurassic World, Monster Wheels;
- Table games: Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat;
- Video poker: Aces and Faces, All American, Deuces and Joker;
- Scratch cards: Bowled Over, Golden Ghouls, Super Zeroes;
- Lottery: Electro Bingo, Spingo, Hexaline.
Slots: Crazy Dentist, The wild Forest, Bike Mania.
Blue Casino also offers a single version of Blackjack.
Mobile and Live Gaming
The casino has a mobile version, and you can enjoy games while on the go. However, this version is not so user-friendly, because it’s impossible to select Red or Blue Casino, so pity!
“The mobile version of the website is not really user-friendly”.
Now about their live games variety. There are 11 live games to choose from - this modest selection includes variations of Blackjack, Roulette and Punto Banco.
Bonuses and Promotions
Playbet Casino is one of those casinos that don’t offer a welcome promotion. No welcome bonuses at all, no sign-up bonuses or any other extra bonuses for you. What a disappointment! They only provide a loyalty program, according to which every 100 points could be converted into real €1. Furthermore, if you will become a regular player, you can take part in the VIP club promotions.
“There is no welcome bonus, only a levy on net winnings”.
You’d better have a look at their Terms and Conditions because there’s a catchy thing called “Gaming Levy”. A fee instead of welcome bonus offer… Well done! This is a levy on net winnings which applies in case you live in Greece. Actually, there is Greek Decree behind this fee (more details are provided in Terms and Conditions), but this doesn’t make things better. This is how the levy works:
- The first €100 - 0%;
- The next €400 (from €100.01 to €500) - 15%;
- Over €500 - 20%.
