La Riviera Casino Review
Really, how much more sloppy it can get with La Riviera Casino? The customer support doesn’t work properly; the banking page lists TWO options (one of them is supposedly not available for withdrawals, and another one has €150 min withdrawal limit and €20 fee), the bonus terms and conditions are vague (to put it politely)... We have only managed to discover that your first deposit can bring you a 200% bonus up to €200, and you will have to wager the sum of your deposit and bonus 40 times. That’s too much, but, what is worse, the welcome bonus is sticky. Besides, the selection of games is not really impressive - it includes somewhere around 200 titles, and all of them are from Real Time Gaming. So, where’s your rock bottom, Riviera?
- Mobile compatibility;
- 24/7 live chat;
- Powered by RTG;
- SSL encryption.
- No live games;
- The support agents can be useless;
- Very short list of banking methods;
- Confusing bonus terms;
- Sticky welcome bonus;
- Lame wagering requirements - 40xB+D.
La Riviera Casino was founded in 2010, but it might as well be 20 years old by the looks of it. It is licensed by the laws of Curacao and is as generic as it can get.
The website is the first thing that gives it away. It’s been updated recently, but the efforts were futile - it still looks like a pile of garbage, just with glitter on it. Don’t expect to see any games here too; those are all in a separate lobby (that looks exactly like any other RTG lobby in the universe, bar the background).
Where’s your rock bottom, Riviera?
Customer support: The support options are limited to email and live chat, and the agents are supposed to be online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We tried the chat, but we were not satisfied. The agents didn’t manage to answer even the simplest questions. We have been transferred from one agent to other several times, but the result was the same “Wait a moment please….” And then - nothing.
Banking: The banking page lists payment options like wire transfer, credit cards, and… that’s it. Really, not even a single e-wallet. Furthermore, there’s “N/A” for minimum withdrawal and withdrawal time for the credit cards. Don’t tell us it means you can only withdraw through the wire. We’d contact support to clarify that, but… Anyway, it takes from 7 to 10 working days to withdraw through the wire transfer. Any withdrawal is paid out in installments, up to $3,000. Here is one more interesting clause we found in terms and conditions - if your accumulated deposits do not exceed €200 (you see, they use EUR here. They can’t even decide on their currencies!), you can withdraw 10 times this amount. If you request more, you will still get this maximum amount, and the rest will be eliminated from your balance.
Software and Game Variety
La Riviera Casino is the RTG-only casino with both instant play and downloadable versions. In total, there are about 200 games. Here are some of the titles:
- Slots: Rain Dance, Bubble Bubble, Shark School;
- Jackpots: Spirit of the Inca, Aztec’s Millions, Football Frenzy;
- Table games: Blackjack, Caribbean Hold’em Poker, Baccarat;
- Video poker: Bonus Poker, Sevens Wild, Joker Poker;
- Specialty games: Craps, Keno, Treasure Tree.
Mobile and Live Games
La Riviera Casino took care to adapt the website to mobile devices. Of course, there are like four pages total on it (and a 2013 copyright at the bottom, which is everything you need to know about how much they care), and its main purpose is to bring you to a generic RTG mobile lobby. Anyway, the games run fine, and ultimately that’s what matters most.
Live games are nowhere to be found. Not that it would have changed anything drastically anyway.
Bonuses and Promotions
The welcome bonus at La Riviera Casino comes in three stages, and cover your first three deposits:
- The first deposit: a 200% bonus up to €200;
- The second deposit: a 100% bonus up to €100;
- The third deposit: a 100% bonus up to €200.
In case you claim all three, you’ll also get 50 free spins on Eternal Love slot.
La Riviera Casino has some of the most messed up bonus terms we’ve ever seen.
The wagering requirements are pretty steep - 40 times the deposit plus bonus. And regarding the spins, you will have to wager the sum of your deposit and winnings 40 times. Yes, exactly, you have to deposit to claim your winnings, and the amount depends on how much you won. What is worse, the bonus seems to be phantom and non-withdrawable. “Seems to be,” because you can’t tell for sure - they have some of the most messed up bonus terms we’ve ever seen. If you figure them out - we’ll give you a medal
