The Welcome Bonus could be cool, as you will get a 500% first deposit bonus, up to $1,500. But the wagering requirements spoil everything. You will have to wager the bonus and deposit amount 35 times. If there’s a casino to stay away from - this is it.
HRwager Casino was launched in 2012. They display a Curacao license badge on the bottom of the starting page, but the casino itself is licensed by the Government of Costa Rica (which is marginally better than no license at all), and accepts players from all over the world (with a footnote that it’s solely the player’s responsibility to ensure that he’s allowed to play from his jurisdiction). Sounds shady as hell, if you ask us.
The website looks nice and clean - white and red colors, convenient navigation, helpful informational section, neatly organized games. It all shatters when you actually register and login - what appears, is a hideous lobby, that looks 15 years old. Talk about fancy wrappings…

Banking: The banking options are a joke - they only accept credit cards, Bitcoin, and Person to Person; with the minimum deposit of $50. It’s even more ridiculous with withdrawals - credit cards are excluded altogether. You also have to submit a withdrawal request via phone or live chat, within business hours. AND you can withdraw no more than $3,000 per month, with one of your payout requests being free of charge. As for the jackpot winnings, the withdrawal limit is set to $9,999 per month.
Customer Support: The support is available via a toll-free phone number, email, and live chat. Supposedly, the service is available 24/7, but we had no luck getting any response from a chat operator, so there’s that.
Software and Game Variety
Alright, they must be really confident of themselves to give you such nonsense with withdrawals. It must be their games that are supposed to draw you in and hook you up, right? Well... HRwager Casino is powered by SoftSwiss software and the games suck. Not only are there just over a hundred of them - the games themselves are not really impressive. It is best seen in the slots section - some games look kinda ugly. We know that there still are some single-provider venues, such as 7 Sultans Casino, but they usually present some huge provider, like Microgaming. At least the traditional casino games are alright though. Just have a look at some of their games:
- Slots: Desert Treasure, Knights & Dragons, Aztec Magic, Brave Viking;
- Table/Card Games: Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Pontoon, Oasis Poker;
- Casual Games: Scratch Dice, Minesweeper, Heads And Tails.
HRwager Mobile and Live Games
Both the mobile website and the mobile lobby work fine. The layout could be more convenient, but maybe it’s just us. What makes it pretty much useless though, is the game choice which is rather limited.
Live casino is also here, kinda. The selection of live gaming options includes standard titles like Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. Well, it could be worse, we guess.
Bonuses and Promotions
The Welcome Bonus at HRwager Casino is a 500% match bonus on the first deposit, up to $1,500. The minimum deposit to qualify is $100. Just like with the withdrawals, you have to contact their support to claim the bonus.
The bonus is not a phantom one, but they found another good way to make it useless anyway.
Such a huge match percentage makes you think the bonus is sticky, but it’s actually not. Instead, it has way too high wagering requirements (35 times the deposit plus bonus amount), and 4x max cashout limit. Not a great offer, we’ve seen something alike in Pocket Fruity Casino, and we remember that nobody liked it.
The casino also offers a reload bonus, which can reach up to 300% match, in case your deposit ranges between $501 and $1,000. All the bonus terms remain the same. You can also try out their Slots Bonus and Live Casino Bonus. Check these out on the “Promotions” page.
