Everest Casino Review
Okay, what do we know about Everest? First of all, it’s the highest mountain you can climb. Secondly, you can die there, if you are not experienced enough, or just not very lucky. All in all, it seems like it has nothing in common with Everest Casino - no death or climbing here.
The website boasts a good reputation, and its age is impressive ( for a casino, obviously) - over 20 years! That’s why we expected to find plenty of exciting games there, but the selection is not that outstanding, and we can see over 300 titles, mostly from Playtech.
The welcome package looks nice, as your first deposit can bring you a 100% bonus, up to €200. But residents of certain countries have to wager the amount of the bonus 60 times! At least, for some other countries, the requirements are a bit more attractive - 40 times the bonus amount.
- 20 years of experience;
- Good reputation among other portals;
- License from Malta Gaming Authority;
- Four languages.
- For certain countries, the wagering requirements are 60xB;
- Some countries are not eligible to claim the bonus at all;
- Poor selection of live games.
They, like us, are literal grandpas on Internet years. Established in 1997, Everest Casino is easily one of the oldest online casinos to date. However, the advanced age is not always a guarantee of quality. But no spoilers, we, HolyMoly Casinos, will talk about all these things a bit later. At the moment, let us inform you that the casino didn’t specify what countries are eligible to play here. So here is a lifehack for you - if you would like to register here, just start the registration process, and check the list of available countries. If your country is not on this list, you will have to look for a different casino. Actually, we would recommend you to do this in any case.
Reliability and Security
Everest Casino holds a license from one of the most reputable authorities in the world of online gambling - it is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. Apart from this, it boasts a certificate from eCOGRA, which means that there is no need to worry about the casino’s software. And here is one more nice thing to tell you - your data is securely protected with SSL encryption, so that bad guys won’t be able to steal it.
Here, at HolyMoly Casinos, we have no questions for Everest Casino regarding their trustworthiness and security, and neither do other watchdog portals - the casino has a pretty good reputation.
Customer Support: The customer support service is not that good as the casino’s license. You can contact the support agents via email or online contact form, but you have to be patient, as emails are replied within 24 hours. In the FAQ, we also found a link to 24/7 live chat, but guess what? The link didn’t work, and there is no other way to launch the chat. That was pretty disappointing, but let’s hope that it was only a temporary technical problem. At least, the email support is provided in English, German, Hungarian, and Portuguese. There is also a pretty wide FAQ section, so you may be able to find all the essential answers on your own.
The live chat is here, but it doesn’t work, so you will be able to use only email and online contact form.
Banking: The list of deposit options includes Skrill, Neteller, Entropay, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, bank transfer, Paysafecard, and Ukash. The list of withdrawal methods is exactly the same, excluding only Paysafecard and Ukash. If you request at least €15, your withdrawal will be free of charge.
The minimum deposit amount is €10, and the maximum limit depends on your method. For instance, if you choose Visa, you can withdraw up to €30,000 per transaction. You can also set the deposit limits on your own. Regarding withdrawals, in most cases, the minimum amount is €5. Mastercard and Maestro are the only exceptions, as their minimum and maximum limits depend on the card provider.
The maximum withdrawal limits of other banking methods are different. For example, if you withdraw via Neteller or Skrill, you can request up to €10,000 per transaction. The maximum amount you can win from a single bet is €500,000. This rule doesn’t apply to jackpot winnings. Regarding the Everest Casino withdrawal time, requests are processed within 24 hours. Not bad!
The list of available currencies is pretty wide. Currently, you can choose between 10 currencies, including EUR, USD, GBP, NOK, SEK, and others.
Design and UX
We expected to see snow-covered mountains, but the site of Everest Casino looks really simple. It has typical red and black colors, and the background has nothing to do with real Everest. Besides, you won’t meet even a single mascot here - all of them probably tried to climb the Everest and died. At least, the navigation is okay. We experienced certain difficulties when looking for the live chat (and the link didn’t work in the end), but in general, it is fine. The website is available in 4 languages: English, German, Swedish, and Japanese.
Software and Game Variety
Everest Casino is just another Playtech casino. They do have games from Ash Gaming as well, however. This casino is downloadable, and you may prefer to download the software instead of going for an instant play version. The overall selection consists of more than 300 games - that’s for the downloadable format. Not bad, but a bit disappointing for such a mature and experienced casino.
There is a noticeable lack of the big name games here, but if you’re tired of those, then maybe it won’t bother you. Anyway, here are some games you can have fun with:
- Slots: Age of Gods, Roaring Wilds, Neon Life, A Night Out;
- Table and card games: Baccarat, Blackjack Surrender, Casino Hold’em, French Roulette;
- Video poker: Aces and Faces, Tens or Better, Joker Poker, All American.
Just like many other gambling websites, Everest Casino is focused on slots - there are not so many table and video poker games to try here.
Mobile and Live Games
Live dealers can be found here, but the selection is minimal. You can choose between Baccarat, Blackjack, Casino Hold’em, and Roulette. They are offering only one table for each live game.
Bonuses and Promotions
Everest Casino offers a welcome package that covers your first 4 deposits. So, this is what you can get as a new player:
- 1st deposit - a 100% match bonus, up to €200;
- 2nd deposit - a 50% match bonus, up to €250;
- 3rd deposit - a 50% match bonus, up to €250;
- 4th deposit - a 100% match bonus, up to €300.
The catch is that there are another two pages of terms and conditions to consider when dealing with the Everest Casino welcome bonus. And please, read them carefully! The wagering requirements are 40 or 60 times the bonus - it depends on your country of residence. 40 times is okay, but 60 is too much, if you ask us. You may even be not eligible to claim the bonus - this also depends on your location. The maximum bet during the wagering is limited to €10. Besides, keep in mind that the welcome bonus is available only for 72 hours from the moment you complete the registration process. There is no Everest Casino promotional code to use to claim the welcome package.
Don’t forget to read the bonus terms and conditions - there are plenty of restrictions there!
Other than that, there is a comp point system. Every €10, €20, €40 or €100 wagered (depending on a game), you’ll get the point. You can convert them into cash, but the exchange rate also depends on your status within the system.
Apart from the welcome package and the comp point system, there are no other promotions, and we doubt that this will change in the nearest future. Challenges and tournaments are missing as well. That’s not only disappointing, but also weird - we expected a casino that started operating in 1997 to offer much more promos and games! We expected it to be better in general. Oh well...
Is Everest Casino safe? Yes, it is absolutely safe. This gambling website is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and certified by eCOGRA. Apart from this, it uses SSL encryption technology to protect your private information from hackers.
Do I need to download any software? Everest Casino is available both in an instant-play and downloadable modes, so you play either in the browser or download the software. That’s up to you, but the downloadable version offers a bit more games.
Do they support mobile or tablet play? Yes, you can play using your mobile gadget. However, downloading and installing a special app is the only way to play on the go. The casino offers applications for iOS and Android devices, and you can find the links for downloading at the Everest Casino Mobile page.
Can I trial their platform for free? Yes, you can try the games even before creating an account and making a deposit. Just find a game you would like to try and choose the demo mode. Click the respective button and get ready to play. Live dealer games can’t be tried in the demo mode.
Do they provide 24/7 customer support service? Well, that’s a good question. You can send an email at any time, but emails are replied within 24 hours. The chat is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but the chat itself doesn’t work. However, if you need help urgently, you can try to check the FAQ page.
