There are several things that make this casino not-so-perfect. First of all, their support service is poor, as you can reach their agents only via email. Next, their reputation among several watchdog portals is somewhat spoiled due to confiscating the bonus funds, without any clear explanations of that.
Casino Metropol is focused on the Turkish market. They claim to have been creating casino fun since 1967, but we couldn’t quite track it back that long. The casino is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority. Some of their games are licensed by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission. There are some weird shenanigans going on with their URL. It is currently casinometropol43.com, and we can’t help but wonder what happened to the previous 42 ones.
The website looks classy, and present its luxury theme well enough. It supports 5 different languages, including Turkish, English, and German. The game lobby, unfortunately, is not that convenient. The game thumbnails are too small (we mean it. Sometimes you can’t even tell what a slot is about from the image), the games are not sorted in any apparent order, and you have to click little page number buttons at the bottom to navigate through them.
Banking: The banking seems to be alright - they accept credit cards, Neteller, Skrill, EcoPayz, and Bank Wire. You can use these options for both depositing and withdrawing funds. The payout time takes around 2 days while the maximum amount you can withdraw per day is €50,000.
The only support option you get is email. Yep, for real.
Customer Support: The only support option you get is email. Yep, for real. Of course, there’s the FAQ section, but it doesn’t quite make up for the lack of the phone number, or at least a freaking live chat. It’s not a good thing to run a casino where a customer cannot contact a support team within a few minutes. Different issues might occur that need immediate attention, and if you won’t tolerate such treatment - you can try Grand Mondial Casino.
Software and Game Variety
The game library at Casino Metropol counts over 700 game titles. Sounds great, and the developers they cooperate with are even better: Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution Gaming, Yggdrasil, NYX, Leander, and a couple more.
As we said earlier, the navigation around their game lobby is bad. There’s not even a search bar. The casino features some very popular progressive slots, but they are not gathered into a separate section. Anyway, let’s check out what games can be found here:
- Slots: Avalon, Immortal Romance, Starburst, Superman, Butterfly Staxx;
- Jackpots: Mega Moolah, Mega Fortune, Arabian Nights, Jackpot 6000;
- Table Games: Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Texas Hold’em, Oasis Poker;
- Video Poker: Deuces Wild, Jacks or Better, All American, Joker Poker;
- Other Games: Wheel of Fortune, Lucky Keno, Spin Lotto, Irish Eyes Scratch.
Casino Metropol Mobile and Live Games
The mobile version of Casino Metropol works fine on any modern gadget (iOS and Android). Simply open the casino in the mobile browser and play on the go wherever you are.
In the Live Casino section, you have a choice of two platforms: Portomaso Gaming and Evolution Gaming. The games are almost the same between them - Baccarat, Roulette, Casino Hold’em, Blackjack, Punto Banco, and Dream Catcher.
Bonuses and Promotions
There was something bugging us, while we were browsing through Casino Metropol for the first time. Then we realized - there are neither huge “Welcome Offer” banners anywhere on the website, nor even the Promotions tab. You actually have to dig deep into the footer menu to find out what’s on offer. Anyway, the welcome bonus is a 100% first deposit match up to €190, with only 10 times the bonus plus deposit amount wagering requirements. Really nice.
The wagering requirements are x10 on the deposit plus bonus. That’s, like, real wow!
Note that if your deposit is made with Skrill or Neteller, then you’ll have to wager the bonus plus deposit amount 40 times! One more alarming thing is that Casino Metropol is known to confiscate the bonus winnings due to the “bonus abuse”, without being clear on that they consider abusive. Be sure you read the full terms and conditions carefully.
