Cafe Casino Review
As it turned out, Café Casino offers sour coffee. Their barista knows it and doesn’t want to change anything. Their interior is cozy and cool, they do have some nice games from Rival and RTG, and they even treat you with a sign-up bonus. However, the thing that might put you off, is the lack of reliable licensing information. Or the fact that it’s US-only, the lack of the withdrawal options, and the absence of live games. Yep, they still have a lot of work to do.
At least, their bonuses are alright. They give you an opportunity to choose between two Welcome Bonus options: a 500% first deposit bonus, up to $5,000, with the wagering requirements of 35 times the bonus plus deposit. As well as a 100% match reward, up to $1,000, with 25x wagering. The main difference is that the second option doesn’t carry any cashout limits.
- Can follow the casino on social media;
- Can choose from two decent Welcome Bonus options;
- No-deposit bonus.
- No info about licensing;
- Poor choice of the withdrawal options;
- No live games;
- Accepts only US players.
Café Casino (because without an accent it would presumably look too boring) opened its doors in 2016. It is operated by Lynton Limited, the same company that runs Bovada Сasino. They don’t display any kind of regulatory information on the website, which is shady as hell, as far as we are concerned. We tried hard to get this information from the support, but they seem to be clueless about what the license is, and kept sending us the link to the RNG certificate. Even Springbok Casino is not hiding its Curacao license. By the way, it seems they accept players from the USA only.
If Cafe Casino has a license, it hides it really well. Neither the website nor the support couldn’t tell and anything meaningful about it.
The website looks fine, with clean design in white and brown colors, convenient navigation, and instant-play lobby with two display modes (list and grid). There are even some extra filters hidden under the little check-mark on top, which we didn’t even notice at first. The filters are kinda in confusion - several themes, 1 developer (even though there are definitely more), some game types, the number of reels - everything in no apparent order.
Banking: The banking page in the FAQ lists only three withdrawal options - Bitcoin, Bank Wire, and Check by Courier. Okay… We suppose those are really the only options you can hope for. Even though they accept Bitcoin, don’t expect to get your funds instantly - your withdrawals remain pending for 72 hours.
Customer Support: The support is available through live chat, phone, and email. However, the operator we were lucky to chat with turned out to be clueless in most of our basic questions. Hardly a pleasant experience. At least you can also follow the casino on Twitter and Facebook.
Software and Game Variety
Café Casino hosts games from several developers, such as Rival, RTG, and proprietary games made exclusively for Bovada casinos. Overall, they have somewhere around 300 game titles to choose from (as many as Pokies Casino used to have). Here, you can see several of them:
- Slots: Zombies vs Cheerleaders, A Night With Cleo, Bulletproof Babes;
- Jackpots: Food Fight, Major Moolah, Aztec’s Treasure, Shopping Spree;
- Table Games: Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Caribbean Hold’em, Craps;
- Video Poker: Deuces Wild, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Bonus Poker;
- Other Games: Keno Draw, Go-Go Bingo, Sudoku Box Game, Beach Bums.
Mobile and Live Games
The website has responsive design and scales smoothly to smaller screens when opened on mobile devices. Not much to add here, it just works.
What the casino does lack, is a collection of live games. Let’s hope they add them sometime soon.
Bonuses and Promotions
Cafe Casino offers two welcome bonuses - the Super Play bonus and the No-Max Cashout bonus. The terms are as follows:
- Super Play: a 500% match bonus up to $5,000 on the first deposit; 35 times the bonus plus deposit wagering requirements; maximum cashout is limited to 10x the deposit amount;
- No-Max: a 100% match reward up to $1,000; 25x wagering; no cashout limit.
Both bonuses are cashable and can be withdrawn after you complete the wagering. Having a choice is good, and if you ask us, the No-Max bonus looks way better (as the Super Play bonus goes with too high wagering requirements). Oh, and if you deposit with Bitcoin, the match percentages are increased to 600 and 150 respectively (other terms remain the same). A fantastic offer, if we ever saw one.
There are two welcome bonuses to choose from - a not-too-bad one, and a cool one. Now we’re talking!
There’s also a no-deposit bonus - $10 with 60x wagering, and the winnings are capped at $125.
