Bet-at-home Casino Review
Bet-at-home (besides, you know, giving you an opportunity to make bets, imagine it, right at your home!) offers a decent enough online casino. The design of the website is fully sporty and sports betting is the main thing here. In the casino section you will find many promotions and not many games. We do like NetEnt games, but wouldn’t mind more variety of providers. The 100% welcome bonus up to €200 looks pretty good, but the 60xB wagering requirements are too high. As for their Loyalty Program… If there’s such thing as anti-marketing, they must have used it, because it is in fact better that they advertise it to be.
- Licenses from the UK and Malta;
- Several gambling products at one website - casino, poker, sportsbook;
- Two options for a welcome bonus;
- Excellent navigation in the game lobby.
- Somewhat limited withdrawal options;
- Too high wagering requirements - 60xB;
- Not the greatest game diversity.
Alright, let’s put it this way: Bet-at-home Casino website might not win the “Fanciest design” award. Not to say it looks bad, no. It’s just plain and simplistic (as if there’s something wrong with that). But when it comes to functionality and navigation - it kicks ass. You can filter games by themes and features, sort by popularity and newness, and search by name. We particularly enjoyed the “Feeling lucky?” button. You probably guess what it does (if you don’t - google it).
The website doesn’t looks all that flashy, but when it comes to functionality and navigation - it kicks ass.
Bet-at-home was founded in 1999, with the casino added to catch-up with the industry in 2005. The casino is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (arguably the most respected authority) and Malta Gaming Authority (arguably the second most respected one), and currently counts over 4.6 million registered customers. Another surprising advantage is the RTP values section, that is present on the website and contains the RTP value for every single game, offered at this casino. This is a proof of the casino’s fairness and the respect to user’s needs at the same time.
Banking: Deposit options are nice: Visa/Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Paypal, and several local ones (Sofort, Giropay, Przelewy24 etc). Deposits made through the credit cards are a subject to processing fees (2%), which is a bit disappointing. As for withdrawals - they just had to mess up most of the methods in some way. Like, you can withdraw with Skrill for free two times a month (every further withdrawals will cost you up to €5). Credit cards and PayPal have no such limits, but the minimum amounts to cash out are €100 and €50 respectively. Your best option would probably be Neteller, that doesn’t seem to have any strings attached, and the min withdrawal is only €10.
Customer Support: The support is available round the clock via live chat, phone number, email and fax. The fax number looks ridiculous almost in any “Contacts” section, but not in this one. Judging by the website’s design, they surely do have fax, and probably believe that other humans are still using faxes too.
Software and Game Variety
Bet-at-home is a NetEnt casino and features games from this developer only. The total number of games is around 130.
- Slots: Jack and the Beanstalk, Blood Suckers, Gonzo’s Quest, Jack Hammer;
- Jackpots: Mega Fortune, Arabian Nights, Divine Fortune, Cosmic Fortune, Mega Joker; jackpots are currently ranging from $30k to $1.8m;
- Table Games: blackjack in a couple of variations, roulette, baccarat, stud and holdem poker, video poker, baccarat;
They also ave a new “Vegas” games section, with about 150 more assorted games from Microgaming (Mad Hatters), AshGaming (Full Moon Fortunes), Nextgen (Unicorn Legend), and some others.
Mobile and Live Games
The website works well on mobile devices, however the number of games is somewhat lower that on the desktop. Just open it in your browser and you’re ready to go. Bet-at-home has an app as well, but it seems that it’s for betting only.
Live games are available on both desktop and mobile, and include roulette, baccarat, blackjack and casino hold’em.
Bonuses and promotions
The Welcome Bonus for casino players at Bet-at-home has two options (good and better, as they say):
- If you deposit $500 or more, you get 50% match bonus up to $1000;
- If you deposit less than that (starting from $1), you get 100% match bonus up to $200;
The choice is always good. Both options are alright, but the wagering requirements are too high - x60 on the bonus amount.
There’s also a poorly phrased, but actually alright loyalty program.
It goes like this - you get 0.25% of your stakes back as a bonus. Bet a hundred, get a quarter. Um, hurray? Sounds crappy, but it is actually not so bad when you compare it to other casinos, where you get like one virtual point per $10 in wagers and then exchange 100 points to $1.
Check the promotions page for other offers - they tend to change regularly and you always have a lot to choose from.
