Double the fun (not really)
Really, how can they not notice that games list on every page? And if they do - how hard can it be to fix it? Anyway, it's not even the main problem. The whole thing looks like it was rigged up in a garage. The welcome bonus is unimpressive too, with x50 wagering requirements. At least the games are cool.
ahaCasino is a relatively young one - it opened just in 2013. They are licensed by the Government of Curacao, and together with ahaBingo form the Aha group.
The website looks fine. For a couple of first seconds. Then you start browsing and realize it’s a mess. For example, there’s a full games list on EVERY freaking page, be it “About Us” or a separate game page. It’s like they’ve added the lobby to the footer accidentally and never noticed. Then there are several locale glitches, with Sweden words and phrases popping up in the English version. And don’t even try to open any of the links in a new tab - you’ll get a text-only page.
“The website looks fine. For a couple of seconds. Then you start browsing and realize it’s a mess.”
The separate banking page is nowhere to be found. So you either have to trust the logos at the bottom of the website, or ask support. We asked support and they told us to trust the logos at the bottom. Bankinception in action. Anyway, the options are Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, and credit cards.
The support is available via the live chat, and email. The working hours are not listed, but we found out that they are 10:00 to 24:00 GMT.
Software and Game Variety
ahaCasino is completely instant play, and offers games from multiple providers: Microgaming, Netent, Play’n Go, Betsoft, Quickspin, and a couple more. At first glance it appears that there’s a shitload of games. Then you remember, that they have that games list on every page, including the lobby page, meaning all the games are doubled. That leaves you with only half a shitload - about 400 titles.
The slots at ahaCasino are most impressive. You get bit of everything - mega-popular Starburst, Immortal Romance, and Mr Vegas; classic 3-reel slots like Break da Bank, branded Hitman, Tomb Raider, and Scarface; progressives such as Mega Moolah (€1.7 million), Mega Fortune (€800k), and King Cashalot (€660k).
Speaking of progressives: there’s no separate category for them, so you’ll have to look them up on the general list by the jackpot counters. In addition, there are some weird titles among them. Day and Night - current jackpot €177. Galactic cash - jackpot €9. Lowriders - €9. Holy hell, truly a fortune to pursue.
“Some of the jackpots there are really mind-blowing. Day and Night - €177. Galactic cash - €9.”
Other games are alright too. Beside traditional blackjack, roulette, video poker, and baccarat, you also get stuff like Beat Me. Pai Gow Poker, Ace of Spades, scratch cards, bingo, and keno.
Mobile and Live Games
Mobile website of the casino works fine. There are several glitches as well, like broken links and such, but overall it looks decent.
Live casino section features games like roulette, blackjack, casino poker, and baccarat. Pretty standard.
Bonuses and Promotions
The welcome bonus at ahaCasino is a 100% first deposit match bonus up to €200, plus 30 free spins on Gonzo’s Quest. The wagering requirements are pretty high - x50 on the bonus amount. The offer is only available to players from Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Australia.
You also get 20 free spins on Starburst right after the registration as a no-deposit bonus, but the list of countries it applies to is even smaller.
ahaCasino doesn’t give an impression of high quality product - both mobile and desktop website are littered with bugs and glitches. The welcome bonus is only available to a couple of countries, and it’s not even that good. The library of games is nice though.
Click here to visit ahaCasino - the life-changing €9 jackpot is waiting for you.
