We doubt that there is even one star here, but we have some 5-star websites for you: All British Casino, Mr Green Casino, Casino Room, and Chance Hill Casino.
50 Stars casino is closed, so the information below is not relevant!
50 Stars Casino has been around for over a decade. Founded in 2005, it seems to be living the final days. They hold two licenses: one from the UK Gambling Commission, and another one from the Government of Gibraltar.
The website is everything you might expect from a 12-year-old site: flash animations, a single-column design, awkward as hell game lobby, and so on. Hell, they even tell you straight away: “Don’t play here, we know we suck, here’s a better place for you”, and promote another site right on the home page.
The banking is alright, with options like Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, credit cards, Webmoney, and a number of local ones.
The support is there for you 24/7, accessible through a couple of toll-free phone numbers, email, and the live chat. In case you have trouble locating the latter, it’s that tiny green bubble right there at the very bottom of the page. It’s like that bubble has committed some crime and hides its ass in a basement.
Software and Game Variety
They are powered by Playtech software, and has both instant play and downloadable versions. While the games themselves are nice and numerous (300+), the game lobby is a nightmare. You enter and click on a game category, let’s say slots. The category expands, and now lists a number of themes, like History, Movies and TV, Adventure, etc. Ok, cool so far.
Then you click on a theme and see the list of games (just the text titles, no game thumbnails whatsoever). To make it worse, you can’t even scroll the list with a mouse wheel. You have to click or hold the freaking arrow button that scrolls the titles one by one.
Anyway, when you finally get to the slots, it turns out they’re alright. The titles like Rocky, Gladiator, King Kong, and Halloween Fortune are as popular as ever. Playtech’s progressive jackpot are also known to be one of the highest in the industry - the total jackpot counter reaches over €60 million.
Other games include a good number of blackjack and roulette variations, as well as less common titles like Red Dog, Sic Bo, craps, baccarat, casino poker, and more.
Mobile and Live Games
When it comes to a mobile site, don't hold your breath. It just directs you to an affiliated site (Casino LasVegas) straight away.
Live games are there, luckily. You can play baccarat, blackjack, poker, and roulette with live dealers.
Bonuses and Promotions
They don't currently offer any kind of welcome bonus. There are some promos, like daily bonuses (“log in to see what kind of crap you get today”), and comp points. Feel free to see it for yourself, although we really doubt you’ll find anything worthwhile.
Our Opinion
The good days (if it ever had those) are far behind. Old Playtech software platform still has some nice games in it, but other that that - this place is worthless. No welcome bonus, no mobile site, and creepy website and lobby are the highlights.
